## Overview
Tribit eliminates context switching across fragmented productivity tools by unifying three essential surfaces into a single, cohesive interface:
1. **Docs**: Real-time collaborative documents with rich formatting, markdown shortcuts, code blocks, and simultaneous multi-cursor presence.
2. **Channels**: Real-time team messaging channels, direct messages (1:1), threaded discussions, media sharing, and reactions.
3. **Boards**: Interactive Kanban boards with customizable columns (e.g. Backlog, In Progress, Review, Done), task assignments, priorities, due dates, and live card movement.

## Key Capabilities & Architecture
- **Single Source of Truth**: Changes in one surface immediately reflect across the workspace. When a deadline or deliverable is discussed in a channel, referenced in a doc, and tracked on a board, all teammates see identical real-time state.
- **Client-Side AES-256-GCM Encryption**: Workspace attachments and sensitive files are encrypted in the client browser using Web Crypto API before uploading to cloud storage. Zero-knowledge architecture ensures confidentiality.
- **Real-Time Collaboration**: Powered by Supabase Postgres with Realtime subscriptions, webhooks, and optimistic UI updates for zero perceptible latency.
- **Offline & Instant Resumption**: Local client caching enables reading and drafting even with intermittent connectivity.
